Dr. Neelesh Fernandes earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in Computer Science. He graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit and then completed the Detroit Medical Center’s residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation. He is currently doing his fellowship with Portner Orthopedic Rehabilitation in sports and musculoskeletal medicine.
Dr. Fernandes’ professional interests include musculoskeletal medicine and diagnostic ultrasound. He is a member of several professional societies, including the American Medical Association and the Hawaii Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, stand up paddling, and playing the trumpet.
